I AM A SOLO BASS ARTIST!
Basically, i am struggling on making my solo songs interesting. Anyone got any techniques/genres to use to make a solo bass line interetng.

how about creating a mood with just sound effects, for example black sabbath ev5150 may not be considered a bass solo for many but a good example of how to create a mood with bass effects.

i use a loop station (boss rc50) on a lot of my tracks, that really opens up what you can do with one instrument.
