Any Incognito fans in the States????

Sign in to disble this ad
I know there are alot of UK fans of this band, but was wondering if Bluey and his band were loved over in the states..I have seen them live quite a few times...the best being at the Forum when George Benson came on!!!!

Randy 'hope' Taylor being one of my favorite bass players, closely followed by the amazing Julian Crampton!!!

Have loved Bluey since Beggar & Co...

Favorite albums being Beneath the Surface, Tribes Vibes and Scribes, Positivity, and Tales from the Beach..

Any one dig??

Yea I dig ! most musicians I run with also love "the cogs". I got most of their albums and a live DVD they did.Randy Taylor is the bomb. I have to admit though I am very partial to the lineup when Maysa is with them !

I was a big fan of Incognito in the Nineties. I have not followed them much lately. I liked Maysa's first solo album alot too.

I love them. They have had some stinker albums but they seem to be back on track. I thought Maysa's last name was Leak?! Where did Damon come in? Did she get married? Divorced?

I've been a fan since the beginning too, and I really like when Maysa is in the band, but lately I've been digging on bassist Francis Hylton's tone and playing.

They are my favorite band. I have all of the CDs, and my favorite might be Bees+Flowers+Things just because it is so fresh. There are some amazing voicings on that album. I love them all. The live DVD is good, too.

I love learning the bass lines, but I find myself mostly learning melodies and instrumental solos from Incognito... the trumpet solo in "Still a Friend of Mine" for example. Really great playing from everyone!
