any lost 80's music you want to share?

heres a classic from an aussie band ...Rose Tattoo

note the in fashion marshall stacks that everyone had to have at that time and the elaborate video set in a car junk yard

this song became one of our national athems

What qualifies as "lost"?

There's a ton of 80's music I could post here.

I dunno, but any music related post in OT qualifies as "fail".

Moved.

Geek Chic!

Time to geek-out…hardcore!

The hard rock & heavy metal tracks from the original 1986 "Transformers: The Movie". Y'know, the actually good one!

The Transformers Theme by Lion

Nothin's Gonna Stand In Our Way and Hunger by Spectre General

Instruments Of Destruction by NRG

The Stan Bush and Vince DiCola stuff is also pretty rad, but these are my favorite tracks.

This was the first album I actively sought out when I was a kid. My interest in music was only as a casual listener, at best. For some reason, this sparked (pun slightly intended) an aggressive taste for rock music in me.

Absolutely. I still listen to the Smithereens on a regular basis, and my current project is looking into covering a few of their tunes, this one included. It amazes me (in a sad way) that these guys never went bigger than they did.

I like the Gurus a bunch - I covered this one in the Late 80's in my alternative pop dance type band
