Howard Jones - Equality
AWESOME synth tone, so 80s!

Thomas Dolby - One of Our Submarines
Dolby rules. Forget "She Blinded Me with Science", there's a whole other catalog(ue) to check out.

Bill Nelson - Glow World
Mick Karn rips it up on the bass! And it's just a really out-there song. A lot of what I've heard of this guy is like that.

Kraftwerk - Computer Love
Coldplay robbed the riff, but this was WAY better, IMHO.

Before they evolved into the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, there was a great but highly underrated metal band called Savatage....

We play that song all the time since 1996 at bar gigs and crowd always applauds

I think songs from well known bands shouldnt be considered as lost. Even the most unknown ones. But I agree there are lots of good pop songs or "One hit wonders" scattered in 60's 70's 80's all the time. Some are hard to find jewels for a particular taste but not too appealing for masses or current trends in music.

I am so on board with these picks. Mr. Dolby is so much more than the novelty hit category. The last I heard about him he was creating ringtones...
Mr. Nelson? Now there is an obscurity!
And Kraftwerk's Computer Love is always nearby, it transcends time. Shame on Coldplay if they did not funnel cash to those guys.
