Any Mr. Bungle fans?

Got a favo(u)rite album? Song? Just wondering cause I haven't come across many Bungle fans, yet the music kicks ass. Patton is the man for sure.

I like all the albums, but I'd say the first one sticks out the most to me. Disco Volante is possibly the weirdest album I've ever heard and like it more over California but still not as much as the first one.

Anyone?

I most listen to the self titled album. Sadly, I've yet to find Disco Volante at any of the stores around me. California, being as it was totally different from the first album, kinda put me off at first. I listen to it quite often now, though.

Squeeze me Macaroni is my most listened to track, mainly because of the kickass bassline. My Ass is on Fire and The Girls of Porn are pretty BA too.

I'm a HUGE fan of Mr. Bungle. After much debate with myself, i think i've come to love each album equally in their own way.

When i'm looking for funny/groovy music, i'll listen to the self-title, when i feel like listening to weird stuff, disco volante is my cure.

And for the rest of the time, i listen to California. Well, i think i give the edge to California, which might just be the album i've listened to the most ever. Also, i've yet to find someone who doesn't like California. Even my mother likes it.

I heard about the early demo's but never heard any of them.

Love is a fist has a great bass line. Dead Goon has to be the most insane for sure. That octave jump on the first part of it is difficult. I don't know what the drummer was thinking... Trevor Dunn must of been dumfounded when he saw it.

i'm a huge fan of Bungle, definitely. i love every album. don't have a favorite.

i gotta say: love is a fist, dead goon, my ass is on fire, ars moriendi, carry stress in the jaw + the secret song, platypus, retrovertigo, and golem II: the bionic vapor boy stick out as faves. but it's really hard to pick a favorite. my answer would probably be different tomorrow. none of them know they were robots is killer, as well.

trevor dunn, by the way, is probably my favorite bassist ever. and he's a really nice guy. and mike patton just plain rules.

more love for Mr. Bungle!

I like Disco Volante and California about equally. I don't like the first album as much, but it's by no means a bad album.

"None Of Them Knew They Were Robots" has got to be my favorite tune of theirs. I've been to several shows of theirs, always a good time (except for an unannounced "secret" rehearsal show they did at the beginning of the California tour... they didn't quite have it together that night.)

Anyone like Secret Chiefs 3?

Peeping Tom is absolutely amazing. Don't Even Trip and Getaway are probably my favorites from the album.

I tortured my friends with the first album since I had my first vehicle..

I still hear recounts of the horror I put them through!

The funny thing is, after I stopped driving them around, some of them started to listen to Mr Bungle(and Faith No More)

I was the "Bungle/FNM" fan in my youth, and still am, even when everyone I hung out with was dead set on Metallica - I was always the lone one....when FNM and Bungle fans meet, it's like finding a lost friend, hehe..

i love al the mr. b albums but i like the self-titled most out of the albums. "Bowel of chiley"/"Goddammit i love america" is the best demos i feel.

I liked Mr. Bungle a while back. It's a bit much to listen to though during a long drive.

Disco Volante for sure is my favorite Bungle album. Patton is amazing and Dunn is mindblowing, but my personal favorite member is Trey Spruance. He has had the best post Bungle project , Secret Chiefs 3. SC3 is among my favorite groups. But don't get me wrong, I have the ENTIRE(i kid you not, I tracked down all the B-sides & Demos) FNM catalog. Fantomas is a friggin amazing band , I have all of their releases, and when they tour the U.S again, I'm probably gonna see them. Peeping Tom is awesome. Trio Convulsant is kick ass. Moonchild is scary. But I don't like Tomahawk too much.

Admittedly, I haven't listened to Bungle all that much. I know. A travesty considering where I currently reside (their hometown). I'll get on that next week when my college radio station reopens (being a manager has its benefits).

But I did just have an audition in the place they used to practice in last night. So that was pretty cool.
