I'm listening to the Russian version of TaTu's All The Things She Said and I was wondering:
Have any TBers written stuff in languages other than their own? How did you do it? Did you write in the chosen language only or do a translation of English lyrics?
I've considered doing a song in 5 languages (Latin, Greek, French, Italian and Serbian).

I live in Mexico, always have and naturally i speak spanish as native language. But i don't find it hard to write songs in english, i never try to translate it after all, just think in english when im writing and i don't think i will have any problem. |

and the cool thing is its actually translated properly, like the english name is harvest of sorrow and the italian one translates into fruit of darkness, his pronounciation is rly good in the other versions too.

I speak semi-fluent Italian and I've got a working grasp of French.

As to the original question, yes I have. Actually I haven't ever written anything in my native language, only in English. That's a thing that will probably never change.
