Any of you have songs with no lyrics/vocals?

I'm a bass player mainly, and have been for 11 years now, but I also write and sing.

I've been interested in writing lyrics and recording vocals for some music. If anyone is into the idea of posting a link to or e-mailing me some songs with no lyrics/vocals so I can overdub them and send them back to you, please let me know.

I'm not looking to really get into an over-the-internet band or anything too serious, but I like to write and sing, so let's see what comes of it. Worst thing that can happen is that you hate it and then you just press delete. More than anything, I just want some lyrical/vocal exercise, so help a brother out!

Thanks in advance,
Jacob H

I don't get offended. I'm not asking for a critique though, I know I'm not very good. I'm asking for help practicing so I can get better, and that's where the songs with no vocals come in.

Thank you for the review though. I'm not much of a singer or guitarist, but like I said, I'm mainly a bass player so it's no big deal to me. The other myspace link in my signature is to my band. Listen to that singer and you'll see why I don't need to be very good. LoL He's one of the best singers I've ever heard.

the link didnt work for me but i did go to the myspace of your friends list. i really like your band. the singer almost reminds me of the guy from maroon 5 lol. your not bad at guitar or singing for that matter. at times you seem like you push yourself a little too far. i particularly only saw this in "dawn" the others were fine. i know you werent looking for a critique lol but i cant help you on the songs without words thing so i figured i would lend my $0.2

have fun and good luck

all of my songs are instrumentals, that works for me

if you want to collaborate over the internet, look at mediafire as a hosting site to share files with your team

You can take any of the stuff in my sig links (I think that most of the stuff would be a little weird w/ vokills)

Quick EDIT: http://www.soundclick.com/mountedheads --> "Cryptonaut" has no voks but "To My Friends" does.

http://www.soundclick.com/rotarenegesionkcalb --> It would be interesting to hear some voks on THAT stuff.....

Oh, and unlike some peeps I know, I really DON'T care about copyright **** when it comes to my stuff. If someone thinks they can do something with it they are welcome to

Thanks for the replies, fellas! I'm at work and can't download your stuff right now Daniel, but I will check it out!

Thunder, thank you sincerely for the input.
