Anybody Got Change?

I've really been enjoying Jamiroquai this week since i picked up their first two CDs. It got me thinking about their antecedents. One group that I feel must have influenced them was Change, a studio group that did vocals in New York and its instrumental tracks in Italy. Their bassist was a monster named David Romani. The group became a more traditional group in later years. I even think Terry Lewis played bass on one of their later albums. Check out the The Very Best of Change on Atlantic Records if you want to hear them. By the way, Luther Vandross had his first featured vocal on a Change song, "The Glow of Love" and later "Searching."
