Anybody Seen the Billy Cobham "Live" Glass Menagerie DVD?

I've been out and about buying bass oriented DVDs and came across this one. I noticed that it's got Tim Landers on bass.

Has anyone seen this DVD?

How's the sound quality and the bassplaying?

I ordered the Billy Cobham DVD last week, it should be here anytime......I'll let you know the quality when I check it out. I saw that band with Tim Landers.......great player! He's the reason I ordered it

I think Tim plays with John Tesh now.......

I used to own a Peavey Tim Landers 5 string bass back in the early '90s. The bass was kind of nice, except the string spacing was narrow and the on-board electronics weren't that great.

I've only had a chance to watch it once so far, it's a great band with a very young Mike Stern tearing it up on guitar! It was recorded back in '81 and Tim Landers does some very nice playing on it, including a cool solo. He's playing a PJ Fender, so his slapping doesn't have the high end bite we are used to now.....but I think the tone is very cool in a retro P-bass way. I think it was a good buy, but I'm a old guy and saw that band and it brings back memories

I always though Billy Cobham ruled the drum world.
He never played with anyone too shabby either,
look forward to checking this out.

I have to say the Carnegie Hall performance totally blew me away. The sound was unbelievably good,
Cobham was a wizard, he had just gone to the double kick set he used on 'Birds of Fire'.
That band totally astonished me. My view of music
was totally altered by seeing them perform.
Rant rant slobber slobber, DROOL .....

No PA system was used. You could hear a pin drop in the place, all small amps. Huge sound.
I always loved the double neck Gibson Johnny Mac
had, too bad he broke it.

Rick Laird was awesome.
Jan Hammer and Jerry Goodman, what a lineup.

I digress, but that really touches a nerve ...

LOL....I remember in the early 70's when Mahavishnu would open for un-suspecting rock bands.......imagine following those guys....be afraid, be very afraid

I saw one double bill - get this

MO and Mott the Hoople. Think 'All the young Dudes'

I thing MTH was in total shock.
The only weirder match I ever saw was

Mott the Hoople really was an great band, to many people never looked past their one or two "Hits"
Still I would have pooped if I had to go on after M.O.

I dug Mott The Hoople.......I saw them a few times when Mick Ralphs was still the guitar player. Their first album cover with the alligators was a great " acid" cover....LOL
