Anyone care to take a listen?

I recently added an acoustic tune I am trying to get thoughts on whether I should play it live. I am sort of shaky about playing acoustic bass on stage by myself for an open mic.

The song is called Hawk, named after an Indian friend I have.

The song is midway down I think. Thanks

Firstly, i love the sound of your bass. What make is it?
Its a very nice sounding peice and i like it a lot, nice use of delay. I think if you played it for the right audience it would go down real nicely. At more of a mellow spot in your setlist? You may aswell, give it a go live, and see what kind of response you get. Anyway man, well done, keep up the good work.

It's an acoustic fender BG29 miced cheaply and played live. I added delay through some cheap recording program to add some space to it--the finger moving sounds pretty crazy in my opinion.

thanks. It is mellow. I planned to just play this tune at open mic thursday then leaving. We'll see

I wouldn't know what cleaning up my technique entails. What did you sense was off? timing?

well there are alot of squeaks i understand its double bass right? well it just seems real trebley but just squeaky..kind of like you are sliding your fingers too much ya know. well i play fretless almost similiar to an upright, but learned to squeaking can take away from to tune itself.. just my two cents.
