Anyone else excited about the upcoming Sabbath Heaven & Hell reunion?

While I love all incarnations of Sabbath, This is by far my favorite lineup (and some of Geezer's best work). Just found out about the reunion tour last week. I'm sure it's plenty old news to some. The only U.S. show scheduled so far is for Radio City Music Hall in NYC. They're returning in August to do some more (as of yet unannounced) dates.

Yeah man. Lucky for me they're playing in Edmonton. Along with Meat Loaf and Clapton this should be the coolest show I see this year!

I hope it is good! The albums with RJD were classic, and Geezer's tone was killer! I saw this lineup during the Mob Rules tour (Cobo Hall, Detroit), but the sound was terrible! It was worth it just to see Geezer. Anyone know why Wardo isn't playing? Initially, I thought he was, but I could be mistaken.

My guitarist is flying up to NYC for that show, but it is the same week I have our quarterly meetings at work. Otherwise I'd go for sure. Hopefully some new dates in the US will come along. I've seen RJD a number of times, but never Sabbath.

That was the third concert I ever saw as a kid. When I was 10 (1980), my sister & her boyfriend took me to see them on the "Black & Blue" (Heaven & Hell) tour with Blue Oyster Cult in Lebanon, NY. One of those formative moments that steered me in the metal direction, for sure.

They are playing Toronto Canada on March 22. Last report I heard was that Megadeth were opening. Either way, it's going to be a great! show. Even got my tix on Geezer's side of the stage, unless he switched, then I'm up the creek.

Hopefully somebody will be able to post some reviews soon.

I got my ticket for the March 20th show in my home town, Sault Ste. Marie. Megadeth and Down are opening for them!

Not at all. I could care less for Dio and IMO any Sabbath w/o Ozzy isn't Sabbath.

I'm going to see them in Edmonton on March 13 Looking forward to an amazing show. Dio is great, but it would be so much cooler IMO to see them with Ozzy in his prime (mid 70s). Too bad I wasn't alive then... lol

Also, Megadeth is one of my favorite bands ever, and one of the guys I'm going with is a big fan of Down. So hopefully I'll be able to scream along to every song they play

I think it was health related. He's had a few heart attacks, hasn't he? It's Vinnie drumming anyway.
