On the newly released Deep Purple live at the Montreux Jazz Festival '96 DVD, Roger Glover plays a whammy-equipped Tune bass on 'Fireball'. Surprisingly, to my cynical ears, it sounds great!

also Primus' Is It Luck? He's popping and bending the whammy at the same time.

I like the whammy action in the intro of the album version a bit better, it sounds like a plane about to crash.

I don't know about clips, but look for something by Randy Coven, he did some nifty whammy stuff.

Really? I've often wondered how he does that, it's one of Primus's better songs!
