There is a highly-regarded Jazz group in Britain called Acoustic Ladyland who started off doing Jazz version of Hendrix - but are now on to Led Zep!

Their album "Growers of Mushrooms" sounds like the first few Zep albums. But certainly not without it's own original charms. http://www.myspace.com/leafhound
I just found out they put out a new album... seems decent... Growers of Mushrooms is much better though. They kind of got a popularity boost with the rise of the "stoner rock" scene. You could probably also cruise around www.stonerrock.com in the MP3 jukebox and find plenty of bands with a super obvious Zep influence.

| | | | I actually dislike that song as well as the whole Frances the Mute album...
listen to Deloused in the Comatorioum or The Bedlam in Goliath... I really hear a modern Led Zeppelin. |

Classic rock like Zeppelin and Sabbath has just not been in my mood for a long while. But when I was in my band (before it split due to issues) we played a few Zeppelin covers. I still like and appreciate Zeppelin, I just haven't been much into the classic 70s rock genre lately. Even though Rush is still technically classic rock, to me it's quite a bit different. I haven't listened to much of their Zeppelin-esque stuff (first album or two) either, though I still think it's quite different from Zeppelin.
