With all the other options out now... does anyone still use a sansamp bass driver di? either for recent recordings or live?

its been a while since I've used one... while my rig has slowly become a mids crazy machine... I feel I miss the thick meaty sansamp scooped tone but last I tried... I could never get it to cut thru..

Use one live to give some oomph to the DI signal going to the mains.

Recording, I'll blend one channel Sansamp with one clean channel. Makes the lines stand out in the mix a bit more.

I use the ParaDriver DI, not the BassDriver.

ahh ok.. i had the paradriver last.. i think maybe i should go back to that one if i do.

i dont really recall to well... but the blend isnt totally unaffected is it? I kind of remember my clean tone sounding different even with the blend all the way off.
