With all the other options out now... does anyone still use a sansamp bass driver di? either for recent recordings or live?
its been a while since I've used one... while my rig has slowly become a mids crazy machine... I feel I miss the thick meaty sansamp scooped tone but last I tried... I could never get it to cut thru.. |

Recording, I'll blend one channel Sansamp with one clean channel. Makes the lines stand out in the mix a bit more.
I use the ParaDriver DI, not the BassDriver.

ahh ok.. i had the paradriver last.. i think maybe i should go back to that one if i do.
i dont really recall to well... but the blend isnt totally unaffected is it? I kind of remember my clean tone sounding different even with the blend all the way off. |
