1st off I have no affiliation whatsoever with them just a listener.
Wow do these guys play some killer music on their Jazz Fusion station! & it's free! I listen all the time while surfing TB. Just hit pause when you want to hear/see someones youtube vid or other link w/ audio then pick up right where you left off! Just today heard Pattitucci w/ Chick followed by a cut from Mcglaughlin's Live at the Royal Festival Hall featuring Kai Eckhardt. Then an old Brand X tune with Percy Jones!

I listened to AOL's radio for a while, but I recently got another player - it may be related to AOL - but it doesn't require you to rate a song or two every once in a while to keep the connection.

http://radiotime.com/Search.aspx?query=BLUES

If you look at the link icons, you'll see some that require going to AOL's site, but the others with sideways triangles ( > ) can be loaded without going through AOL and the rating service.

GOT_Radio.com is really good for Blues, and I like the Blues station in France.

I can listen all day and it never poops out - just pay attention to the rating of the station for listener satisfaction - some are pretty unreliable and break the link once in a while.

You can just type 'JAZZ' in the search bar and prolly find a half-million stations for yourself.

Here - I did it for you:::

http://radiotime.com/Search.aspx?query=JAZZ

OK the results show the first 25 of 500 or so - so it's not a half million!

I was 'this' close.

listen all day

I listen to it all day long & have never had to rate a song or do anything of the sort. There are occasional ads but very short and no djs to distract as I can read for myself the artist album etc... I just think that they have a great play list on the fusion channel & if one would be inclined to hear some of our fantastic bass players in an entirely random fashion - as in HOLY CRAP! who is playin that bass!? - in the style commonly known as jazz-fusion that it is a great venue to do so. And it's free. thanx
