Just came out of a day's recording with my side project "Sticky Lizard".

Maybe a bit rough at the edges as we went for 7 songs and did them all in one take, but we're pretty happy with it.

... bumping this, because I'd really like your thoughts on the format. It's a bit of a departure for me as we've done it with just a guitar, bass and vocal.

It's all original material, with a sort of ska/punk/funk feel to it... guess that'd make it skunk?!

Whadya think.... anyone?

I like it, Some times the bass seems to wander a little bit too far but it sounds good. The bass sounds a little muffled at times and not as clear as it could be. If you guys can find a decent drummer you would sound alot better.

Thanks for your comments Incognitus, to be honest we thought it could do with some percussion to hold it together a bit too, but wanted to get something down when we had a very tight window of opportunity, so just went with the two of us...

Btw, sorry for the late reply to your post, just came back from a couple of weeks away in the sunshine... life's hard sometimes, isn't it?

Anyone else like to add something? All views welcome!
