Saw these folks in Champaign back in November and was pretty impressed. Not usually my type of Music, but seeing as not many poeple are aware of them, thought I would share. There was 9 people on stage and every single one of them switched instruments with somebody else at least once during the set. Really cool, hip kind of music. Ran into the guitar/bass player at a guitar shop the next day and was a very affable fellow, Fender fan. If they are in your area you should spend the 8 bucks to see them, or go buy a disc.

The web site ain't great but here it is.Arcade Fire

I haven't seen them live, but they're the talk of the indie scene. I picked up the album and it is definately a fine document of music. Extremely full sounding, subtle, sophisticated and powerful. My fave songs are "Une Annee Sans Lumiere" and "Rebellion (lies)"

I've heard great things. I need to buy the album.
