I FINALLY got it today, and thus my discog is complete.

Wow. This record is incredible. Crazy-tech work on all instruments, raw vocals, interwoven melodies, time changes.....just, incredible. Tony Choy is an amazing player, and according to the booklet plays with all five fingers!

There's also some demos with Roger Patterson on them, and they're great too- as is the bass 'n' drum track of only him and Steve Flynn doing "Mother Man."

All in all, an innovative record from an innovative band. RIP ROGER!

I have it around here somewhere. Great stuff. Do you have elements? Or the first one (can't rember the name).

Into Cynic? Great stuff as well. That took me down a different road. It was the soundtrack for my life in 95. I've moved on now but when I hear Vail of Maya my sticker pecks out.

Atheist truly were in a league of their own. Unquestionable Prescence is my favorite Atheist album. Plus I really dig the Atheist artwork.

Amazing album! Unquestionable Presence is my favorite too. Definitely ahead of it's time, when did that come out like '91? That band was so sick! Roger's Patterson was a great player, sad what happened to him.

Tony Choy also played with Pestilence on "Testimony of the Ancients." Thats a good death/thrash album too.

If you like that album, you should check out Sadus "Swallowed in Black." Similar sounding metal from the same era...a little more thrashy than Atheist. Good stuff.

Great album! I was just listening to it at work this morning. I need to pick up their first album still.

I JUST MET STEVE DIGIORGIO TWO WEEKENDS AGO. Sadus played Northwest Deathfest, it was amazing. Pics and report to come soon. He was a really, really nice guy.
