Methinks that perhaps Rush is the unoffical band of Talkbass.

i don't know, but with all the fieldy bashing that has gone on here over the months, i would think that koRn are the anti-band.

Yeah, and just wait 'till next month's BP with the guy from Limp Bizkit on the cover, that's sure to stir it up!

Beware the coming of the Anti-Band, koRn, and the Phalse Profet-band, Limp Bizkit, for they shall plunge "metal" (shudder) into the unholy depths of unholy darkness, from which only the forces of Rush and "Operation Mindcrime-era" Queensryche will be able to bring light back to the world again.

i wonder if he'll talk about how he injured himself and required stitches when he had a tantrum and smashed his bass on stage because he didn't like his sound.

I bet he'll skip over that one! From what the cover says, he's going to discuss how he "creates melody beneath the mayhem." Maybe BP will forget to send me this issue, too.. I don't think I'd mind.

Boy you guys are making me feel guilty. My all time favorite band and bassist and I didn't even know Ged had a solo album coming out!

Also, from browsing all these Rush sites I didn't know existed, I learned Neil wrote a book about bicycling through Africa! It's called "The Masked Rider". The publisher is Nimbus and it seems hard to get. (4-6 weeks on Amazon). Guess I'll have to wait.

Stingray, I read "The Masked Rider", GREAT book.. check bookstores around you, someone's gotta have it.. I borrowed it from a friend. It is really worth reading.

Unfortunately...

Dave, I actually found out my drummer has the book! (Thanks for telling me about it, buddy. I only see you, what, 4 times a week?! )

He's going to lend it to me. I can't wait!
