Very nice alun,from a scotsman to a welshman.Try using a bit of gate to reduce the string screeching between notes.Many players nowadays, especially guitarists (going off topic here ) are becoming lazy with their technique which results in all those horrible stringy scratchy noises between chordand/or bass note changes I may well be in error,however .................
