OK, I'm pretty dense, but what's wrong w/that? Is it wrong to join a bass forum to promote one's band/music? NOT being snarky here- seriously not sure why that's(apparently)not cool. Help a dummy(me)out.

In my opinion, it seems shady to post only to promote people buying your new CD. Then to have a buddy, or maybe even the same person using another account, post to say how good it is.
