All I have to say is at least she writes her own lyrics unlike Britney or the rest of the current wave of Pop. Pop music has been particularly bad for awhile now and at least some of these newer artists are writing/performing thier own stuff. It's an improvement.
...did i mention she's also really hot?

nobody said shes trying to be matt freeman, and punk is all about being yourself. if she feels herself lies within the walls of hot topic, let her be. the worst thing she is doing is taking attention away from britney and all those other fake blondes, which isnt that bad at all. so what is shes not a hardcore punk wahtever? she never claimed to be, nor does she probably want to be. for her, its the punk state of mind shes trying to promote, then again, i could be wrong.
i happen to like her face, although there are no complaints from this dude about her butt

Ebenismyhero put it best I think..."She plays pop music". Amen.
I could care less what she wants to dress like, who she wants to be, shop at Hot Topic or whatever. It's just kind of irritating to see someone like that promoting the image that I and my friends have been into for YEARS...definitely before it became 'cool'
And so now, she is basically what people associate with punk and it's simply not true..I'm pretty sure we all can agree on that.
BUTT in the end it doesn't really matter...she's making more money than me and there will always be people that like her and that's cool. Enjoy it and cest la vie.
