Yeah, most likely Babbitt. He was really close to Jamerson's sound with a bit of added dexterity since he used 2 fingers! If anyone has this album, please list the credits.

A bit OT, but this clip came up as a link to your above link.

One of my favorite 'groove' tunes of all time, and an interesting 'update'... faster tempo, and a bit of 'going to church' in the rhythm section. Smokin'.... and an entire orchestra, plus the Pips killin' it.

The bass player is playing his **s off on this... dig the tenths and the tight tone. He kicks it up and builds for the entire tune.... fantastic playing and interpretation IMO. Lots of 'joy' in that performance... inspiring to me.
