I wasn't alive then but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it, anyways... Do you guys member when punk was short and sweet? Ya know sex pistols, ramones and such. Well it seems nobody had bass solos. If you can think of any post em! I was turned onto this song by a TBer because I love complicated stuff but I still love punk. I'm not sure about the time frame on this band but it's short and punk so it's close enough.

I know they aren't exactly what you'd call solos on The Clash's London Calling, but Paul bassically had the lead on most tunes and carried them well.

Songs like London Calling and Death or Glory are a real good example of that.

Man, Maxwell Murder blows me away every time I hear it.

The Vandals had some bass solos. Off the top of my head, there's a song on When in Rome, Do as the Vandals where the bassist plays the Pirates of Caribbean song.

Thats true... I love london calling, one of the best punk albums ever, it's up there with "Never mind the bullocks... here is the sex pistols".
