I was just working on my Rocco-style semi-muting and began playing the line to "Funk The Dumb Stuff". I love that bass line, but the lyrics and production just ruin that song for me. How about you - are there any songs that, for whatever reason, you just don't like, but whose bass lines really do it for you? |

I can't stand listening to them, but I can admit that the bassline for Longview is amazing.

The song that got me wondering why so many great bass lines are wasted on lousy songs

He also added a cool slap line to it, something Paul doesn't do.
Song still makes me feel like I'm having tea with my grandmother though. |

Sweet bass part, but the song is pretty darn cheesy.
