| Bass Player on Nina Simone's "I Shall Be Released"

So for the last almost year or so I have had a bit of melody running in my head, I wasn't sure what it was, or where I heard it, and it was driving me nuts. Then last night I'm sitting in the coffee shop having a cup and the song comes on. Turns out it's "I Shall Be Released" I hit up Youtube and started checking out out all the different versions and Nina Simone's stands out as my favorite. I'm wondering if anyone knows who played bass on it. I know that Jerry Jemott played on some of her stuff, but the (selected) discography on his website doesn't list it as one of his.
