Bass Recordings best practise

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello mates.

I'm on the way to arrange studio.

Bass sections is gona be a tube amp ampeg b15 and a microphone.
Could you tell me what are best practices to record bass guitar:

1. using amps+microphone
2. preamps directly to sound interface
3. is there a big difference between tube and transistor amps regarding recordings?

Thank you.
