Which bass for which song

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a bit of a stupid question. We will be recording a demo in the near future, about 8 songs. I will be bringing my fender jazz deluxe with rounds and my skykine glaub with flats. I need some advice in selecting which bass to record with. Do I stick with one bass and use it through-out? or do I switch basses depending on the song?

If the answer is switch, could you please help me match each song with a bass. I have a bit of a hard time differentiating bass tones.

1- Long train runnin - Doobie bros.
2- Peace frog - The Doors
3- Keep your hands to yourself - Georgia satellites
4- I feel good - James Brown
5- Hard to handle- Black Crows
6- Wouldn't want to be like you -
7- Guitar ring - Powder Blues Band
8- Play that funky music- Wild Cherry

Thanks
