I was jsut remembering this bass line this morning. I don't have the recording, but I remember it being a sort of P-bass tone and kind of boomy, but very aggressively slapped. Anybody know who played on that track?

If I remember correctly that tune was originally off of the recording called Magic. There were two Bass players on that album,Marcus Miller and the rarely mentioned Sekou Bunch who co wrote the music and played Bass on the track in question.gritty,hi-fi and just right boomy is definitely Sekou's sound.

Thanks Jauqo! that was a jammin' song back in the day. I marcus Miller was on the album, but it didn't sound like him at all. I do remember Sekou Bunch, but I forgot his tone.
