Bass Tone on Sly Stone's "There's a riot going on"
 

"There's a riot going on" might be one of my favorite albums. It's dark and funky, depressed but groovy and incredibly deep. And the bass sounds so goooooood on it. I know sly played most of basslines on that record. What was he using? Larry's Jazz bass with rotosound tapewounds? any idea?
