Bassist on Tyrone Davis recordings.

I just got a best of Tyrone Davis Cd. Some of the bass playing sounds like Jamerson orsomeone copping that style. Does any one know who the bassist was on these recordings?.

Google Bernard Reed. I played some blues jams with the humble gent and found out he has quite a recording legacy. Enjoyed his many early stories like his battle of the bands - going up against The Temptations. Even he's not on the recordings you've heard, he's a name to know. Currently tours with Percy Sledge and Otis Clay.
