Probably you will know the great song "You to me are everthing" from the REAL THING. What a groovy bassline! I love this kind of music.

When hearing it yesterday (studying for an audition tonight), I was quite convinced that it was the famous and inspiring James Jamerson who played it. Finally I found out that Real Thing was a band from the U.K. ...
So, who was the funky boy on that bass then?

Gotcha. I just downloaded that tune. I've never heard it before. Groovy bassline for sure. This 'The Real Thing' was a British soul band/group. I still say R&B and Funk/Soul bass playing was the most creative and grooviest!
