When I don't play bass, I like to beatbox.
Now that I have a decent recording device, you have to suffer that too.
It's all done in one take of course. Overdubbing is cheating.
Feedback and basslines welcome.

That's pretty creative. I've experimented with some beatboxing stuff, I recently tried beatboxing with a vocoder, which produced some neat effects, I'll post a snippet if I get around to it. I dig it.

When I think about it abstractly, beatboxing is the stupidest thing in the world. When I think about it musicially... beatboxing is amazing (when well done of course).

It's kinda funny, cause I know what you're saying, it is kinda absurd to think of human voices working to replicate instruments, especially electronic ones. But at the same time, when you consider the voice was the first instrument followed by drums. It kinda stops being so silly.

Beatbox is pretty much the only way people still communicate music aurally, usually to drummers. I'm not being sarky btw!

Yeah it's an instrument and without a doubt the most versatile around.
Limiting it to regular singing is a waste of ressources.
I've always loved the way Phil Collins used his voice in Mama.
