Beatles & George Martin

Hey people,

Does anyone know any good websites off the top of their heads which examine some of the recording techniques used by the Beatles, I'm not having too much luck at the minute looking for stuff. Many thanks in advance if anyone is able to help.

I don't know of any websites off the top of my head, but you'll probably enjoy George Martin's book With a little help from my friends, [Little, Brown & Co], In which George talks about the making of Sgt. Pepper.

Try searching on Google.

Yeah, I got that book for Christmas a couple years ago. It goes into great detail on the making of Sgt. Peppers and some of the tricks they used.

A really good web site that lists just about every Beatles song, and examines them musically inch by inch is http://www.recmusicbeatles.com/publi...s/awp/awp.html

I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for. IF not, try asking a question over at http://www.bagism.com IF you do, can you please say RUPERT PUPKIN sent ya? Please.
