| Nice, you've definitely got the basics down on it. The groove can always be tighter, but you're damn close to that nice pocket. What you're really missing is a sense of nuance and phrasing. All the notes have basically the same attack and dynamic. Quickly and subtly moving between staccato and legato, soft, hard, quiet, loud, everything in between, that's where you get expressivity and real groove! Think about really shaping your phrases more and you will become an infinitely better bassist and musician. | 
, actually i've used a compressor to get the sound more "controlled" but im going to try lowering the settings and see what i can get.
