The Beatles, Washington Colessium, 1964

Here it is. The Beatles first full concert in the United States in its' entirety, in fabulous black and white!

http://www.apple.com/the-beatles/concert/

This show was "in the round". Watch how they have to manually turn the drum riser. These boys could play, and there is a ton of unbridled joy in this performance.

This vid is about 40 minutes long. Pull up a chair and be inspired!

Man, those guys were something. To think they went from this to Abbey Road in 5 years....what innovators! I can't imagine playing to a crowd like that with low wattage amps, and basically a "high-school auditorium" sound system.

Yeah, I watched that vid for the first time yesterday.

Very cool!

You could tell how talented they were at such a young age.

I was 7 years old and I remember watching their debut on the Ed Sullivan show on Feb 9, 1964 (only a couple of days before this concert in Washington DC).
