I know there are a few people on here that enjoy BTA. I was wondering if anyone else has picked up this album. I got it the day after it came out last week, and I think it's an excellent example of what metal should be, in my opinion.
The bass playing isn't super flashy, but it is very, very solid, and it is worth noting that Jason Wisdom does the lead vocals (which I think are some of the best in metal today) in addition to playing bass.
If you're into metal at all, Becoming the Archetype is definitely worth a listen.
