He one of the biggest reasons i started to play bass. Love Jamerson as well. but i think he is one of the best groove bassist of his generation. I just dont think the guy gets enough credit.

I think the bass Bernard is holding in that shot is the one John Taylor from Duran Duran owns now.

This is just such a slammin groove. Bernard, Nile and Omar Hakim (drums) were just unstoppable. Everything there is to love about the sound of a vintage StingRay is right there.

Not to mention, the chick singer in the yellow in this clip is uber-hot.

The female vocalist in yellow is JILL JONES. She recorded a great, self titled, album in the late 80s. Produced by Prince. She's someone who should have gone on and had a career....dunno what happened.

Somehow I figured Prince would have gotten involved with her at one point or another. He and I have similar tastes... (see also, Suzanna Hoffs.)
