G&L Tribute series, because they have a great range of tones, are well made, and look pretty cool

In my astute opinion, this thread belongs in the 'Basses' section

Also please note that you will get much more for your money if you buy used.

Now that that's out of the way . . . take a look at the G&L Tribute line. Great basses for the money IMO/IME. Schecter and Ibanez also make some pretty decent instruments in this price range.

I have a Fender Highway One Jazz that I absolutely love that was $720 or so new. What are you looking for?

This mans astute opinion is correct and i remaid the thread in the basses section. The reason its under recordings is a long long story and none of yall really care

The one that has been best for ME for under $800 was my Hamer Blitz. Best purchase I've made in years.
