Question Best Drum Track programs

Sign in to disble this ad
Needing a good program of tons of drum tracks that is user friendly and can be manipulated throughout a song (volume, crescendo/decrescendo, etc) recording and mixing. One with, rock, pop, jazzy stuff, etc and not cheap sounding stuff either. Any guidance? I use Cubebase BTW. Thank you in advance.

Used Groove Agent from Steinberg quite a lot. Haven't tried the newest version (expensive stuff). It has a lot of genres and styles. Sounds are great. You can also use it as a "real" VST and record your own stuff with MIDI. Very easy to use.

Jamstix is the best drum software I have ever used at what it does - generating human sounding drum tracks. And you can use it with pretty much any sample library you like (although the stock sounds are very, very good and the BonzoPak is just tremendous).

BUT it does take a bit of effort to learn how to get the best out of it. It's well worth it, though.
