Jaco was d@mn good at what he did but was most certainly not the funkiest finger style bassist out there, IMO! There are a ton of examples in the Funk 101 thread!

Did you ever see him live? He's the funkiest player I've ever seen and I'm a huge Rocco and early James Brown fan.
