Best Love song ever made.

I am new to this category of the forum so this may have been done. If it hasnt fire away......

I have two:

"I love You" by Lenny Williams. not very known but downright deep.

And of course
Let's Get it on" by marvin. Instant chick magnet when my band plays this as a cover.

Lisa Loeb - Sandalwood, one of the most intense love songs I know.

Blowbeat - Show Me Your Shoulder, pretty original lyrics for a love song, and you just have to love this Glockenklang-powered fretless. Those crazy dutchmen are among my all-time faves.

"All You Need Is Love" by te Beatles. If that isnt the best, then the Beatles still probably wrote it.

Some of my faves (to listen to and share with my girlfriend, not necessarily to play) are:

"She's All I Ever Had" by Ricky Martin
"Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls
"By Your Side" by Sade

Pass the Kleenex!

I think the only "love song" I ever played, was "Got You (Where I Want You) by The Flys.

"Naima" by Coltrane! I don't know if it's a love song, but it's one of the most beautiful songs ever captured on tape........I'm in love everytime I hear it

"I guess that's why they call it the blues" by Elton John

"Digital Love" by Daft Punk

"No woman No cry" by Bob Marley

Not so sure about the last one, but to me its amazing and powerful, the 7 minute live version of it makes me cry everytime and its probably the most beautiful song I've ever heard.

Simply The Best

Not the most romantic or mood-setting, but it's all about "Layla" by Clapton. Beautiful song. Maybe even obsessive.

Wonderful Tonight

I guess I would say Layla has a stronger passion but Wonderful Tonight is probably the better love song. Thanks.
