This is the best version of "One" ever... Its from the "Cunning Stunts" concert.

You can really hear Jason in this clip, his tone rocks in this clip too!

Oh no, not cunning stunts. I can't watch that dvd at all, it just makes me cringe. The best version I've ever heard was on the BBC, they recorded a gig in Hammersmith Odeon in 1988. Now that was a performance

Yeah I haven't watched that DVD in years. But I remember disliking their performance of 'One', due to Kirk completely butchering the solo. He messes up the intro solo, and the one at the end. I can't remember if he nails the middle one.

I'm glad that Jason can be heard though.

Graeme

EDIT: Wow you can really hear the bass well. I never noticed that before I guess. Very unusual, especially considering that it's Metallica.

Hmmm...not that I'm a huge metallic fan, but
1) wearing your own band's merch=no no
2) bass tone and the band's overall sound is weak (IMO)
3) they don't sound very tight

Just my opinion, though.

By the way, IMO their best performance of that song was on the live in Seattle DVD.

Is Jason using flatwounds in this clip, like La Bella Deep Talking?
