.. this fantastic tone...! could someone tell me how you can get a sound like that? compressors? effects? clearly i can tell that is a fretless, round wound strngs, fender maybe, But that punch.... please listen! and if anyone might be interested in his music, his name is Guillermo Vadala, two albums: "Alumbramiento" and "Bajo Piel" (Use headphones if possible)

Jazz bass, compressor, stereo chorus. And chops. Add heavy Jaco/Weather Report influence, voila. It IS pretty cool though.

Yes, it sounds like a fretless Jazz with just the bridge pickup, then stereo chorus for the stereoness.
