gah, my dream ( or should I say nightmare concert) would be held at this really old Methodist Church out here , deep in the woods here in MS. This church only has about 15 patrons. It's really old fashion and gothic looking. The show would be Earth followed by Sunn O followed by Neurosis then all three bands would play ....there would be no stage , just everyone gathered around the pulpit, no electric lights just flame.................................SOOOO DOOMY. This place also has an ancient pipe organ.....DOOOOOOM!

I just discoverd a local band called father. They played a show on the 4th. They played one song that lasted for about 25 minutes. Blew my mind three guitars run through sunn tube heads and ampeg svts. A drummer with no cymbals, just amazing. People were puking from the shear volume and lowend.

Fantastic

The concert last night was actually held on an old boat (still afloat) that has been converted into a small club. It was a really cool atmosphere.

Elsewhere in the city there is an old church that has been converted to a club as well. I saw Explosions in the Sky there, although it wasn't very recognisable as a church from the inside.
