Wow, he's certainly got chops. The first half, without any real context and fairly bad sound, doesn't do much for me. The battle w/ Paul is fun.
I never really dug Sheehan's playing until I got Bozzio/Sheehan - Nine Short Films. Bozzio's singing is an acquired taste, but overall it's really cool. Lots of groove, and some very tasty chops here and there too.

Worth noting that Billy Sheehan uses 4 separates amps to get that sound. |

Great chops. Wanky, tasteless sure - but also very, very entertaining.
The peoples are enjoying it. |

Please tell me that's at LEAST 15 years old?!

Great solo there, he really thrashes that thing, very cool to watch! he, remindsme of going to see Steve vai this October....second row, I was on the same level as Billy that night, we traded thumbs up from start to finish and as he walked off, he gave me a litle "hats off". Great guy. |

In the early 90's he used pearce amps that were then heavily processed to produce 4 different sounds. |

| | | | That whole time watching that i just laughed, admired, and bitched about how I hated Billy Sheehan. I'll be the first to tell you he can play like a motherf*cker, but he's got no soul. Jeez, that's just blatant showing off. Was impressive though, and fun I suppose.
Isn't funny how that's the smae band that sang "Want to be the next to be with you?" |

Wanking is all in good fun. |
