And a pink neckerchief!

Wow, he's certainly got chops. The first half, without any real context and fairly bad sound, doesn't do much for me. The battle w/ Paul is fun.

I never really dug Sheehan's playing until I got Bozzio/Sheehan - Nine Short Films. Bozzio's singing is an acquired taste, but overall it's really cool. Lots of groove, and some very tasty chops here and there too.

Cool stuff.

Worth noting that Billy Sheehan uses 4 separates amps to get that sound.

Give me Stu Hamm anyday. He's the only bassist I even care to see a solo from.

His stage schtick is pure Ted Nugent circa '72.

Great chops. Wanky, tasteless sure - but also very, very entertaining.

The peoples are enjoying it.

Utterly demented. Obviously, the guy's possessed by a demonic influence.
Please tell me that's at LEAST 15 years old?!

Although it must be said that both bassists have a great deal of respect for each other.

Great solo there, he really thrashes that thing, very cool to watch! he, remindsme of going to see Steve vai this October....second row, I was on the same level as Billy that night, we traded thumbs up from start to finish and as he walked off, he gave me a litle "hats off". Great guy.

correction. 4 separate sound sources.

In the early 90's he used pearce amps that were then heavily processed to produce 4 different sounds.

That whole time watching that i just laughed, admired, and bitched about how I hated Billy Sheehan. I'll be the first to tell you he can play like a motherf*cker, but he's got no soul. Jeez, that's just blatant showing off. Was impressive though, and fun I suppose.

Isn't funny how that's the smae band that sang "Want to be the next to be with you?"

He is just showing off the whole time but who cares. It is fun. I am actually impressed with his ability to play that fast so cleanly with his fingers.

Wanking is all in good fun.

Without distortion and compression, I'm willing to bet it wouldn't sound too pretty in some of those parts.
