I just was listening to this Rush tribute album on youtube and Billy Sheehan plays bass on the La Villa Strangiato cover. The part he plays, right before the slow middle guitar solo, kills me! (2:52 in) Sounds like he is playing part of Alex's solo:

Pretty cool track. Sheehan did a good job interpreting Geddy's line in his own way.
