Finally got around to getting this one last week and couldn't find a thread on it. Great album. It sounds like it's along the same lineage of "Post" but more creative with the beats and the crazy atmospheric horn section. I liked "Medulla" a lot, but this one goes back a bit towards where I thought Bjork was going to advance to next. "Vespertine" is still my favorite, but this one is probably my new second fav. Go get it.

Yep. Very brassy album. Quite the opposite direction of Vespertine (my fave, too).

Good stuff, regardless.

Thumbs up <3

Another Vespertine lover here! I actually like all her albums although I did not like Medulla that much. Here work with the Sugercubes is very nice as well(but I hate that annoying guy screaming on nearly every song).

Post is my favorite, probably because it's the first disc of hers I fell in love with. There are gems on every disc to be sure. I dig her ability to hear polytonality, such as on Army of Me. There was a show about her on bravo that gives some cool insight to her methods.
She's pushing things forward.
