Blackwater Park: is it a concept album?

Just wondering if anyone knows if this particular recording is a concept like a lot of other Opeth CDs.. and if so,whats the concept behind it?

Nope, not at all actually. Only My Arms Your Hearse and Still Life. Ghost Reveries was intended to be.

For some reason it seemed like there was some connection to those songs , but I guess not..

I thought only one song on Ghost Reveries didnt fit and the rest was a concept.

What do you guys think the theme is?

When I listen to the songs I get a feeling of someone on thier deathbed desperate for redemption or forgiveness.
especially the Bleak, Harvest, Drapery Falls trio.
