For the Sane Asylum album, what bass and amp did LEs used? I dunno if its the bass or the recording but it sound so different. its like the bass is underwater or something

he was pretty much no one at the time so you know it probably wasn't a carl thompson
you can see some blind illusion tunes on you tube it's been a while but you may be able to id it from there.

I have the album. As with almost every low budget thrash recording from the 80's, the bass is just incredibly low in the mix.

On the vids on the Tube he is playing his main 4 string Carl Thompson and I've seen the back of the album and he's playing it. He's had that thing forever.
